Textora — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Textora, published by Nothing Nice LLC ("we", "the app"), handles information when you use our mobile application.

Summary

Textora is designed to display large text on your screen. We do not require an account. We do not sell your personal data. Data you enter stays on your device unless you choose to share it using your device's own features (for example, copy/paste or screenshots).

Information the app processes

• Text you type or paste — Used only to render on-screen previews, fullscreen display, and history entries you create locally.
• App preferences — Stored locally on your device (for example, theme, font size, colors, display mode).

Permissions

• INTERNET — Used only to open external links (e.g. this privacy policy page) in your browser.
• WAKE_LOCK — Keeps the screen on while you use fullscreen display. This is not used to identify you.

Data sharing and third parties

The app does not send your typed text to any server. We do not operate a backend service for this app. If you open external links, those sites are governed by their own policies.

Children's privacy

Textora is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required by your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We rely on your device's operating system protections. We do not add separate end-to-end encryption for your text beyond what the OS provides for app-private storage.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
